I've been Attacked!

Yes, it all explains itself in the title. I've been attacked by a Jack Russell! She is a extremely fierce and vicious old lady name chocolate. And what is my crime you may ask? Its just all because I'm cuter then her and everyone around was singing my praise.

So what happen was that yesterday, Z and my Dad finally took me for my much awaited walk, not at the usual reservoir but just a small park near our home. We went pass the house of the aforesaid old lady, and her family (and her) were out at the front landing chit chatting. Seeing that I'm an extremely adorable puppy, everyone flock to me and calling me cute, and they were all wishing that they have doggies who were as cute as me. So that scary lady got jealous and started snapping at me which resulted in her being put away by her owner. I was even kind enough to go visit her but she wasn't too happy and bit my face! It was a good thing I had so much hair so I was fine. Then, there I was basking in the praises of the two-leggeds and the next thing I know Chocolate has somehow escape from her house and started attacking me! It was a good thing her owner managed to tug her away fast enough or she could have seriously injure me. Thankfully I suffer no injury other then a bruised ego. Chocolate's owner was sooooo scary, she hit Chocolate so hard that even Z flinch and then drag her back to the house by her collar! What a firece owner!

Z didn't have a camera with her so she had to surf the web to find a photo that looks like Chocolate. This is what she looks like! (This is not her, just another doggy named Sophie who looks like Chocolate)

The good thing that came out of this is that Chocolate's owner felt sorry for me and brought out salmon treats for me! Ahhh Heaven! Although Z was being a spoiled sport and saying that I'm fine and needed to be discipline by another dog anyway (what cow dung!). Then I go on to win the hearts of the two-leggeds by performing tricks for the treats! Hahahahahaha.. Two-leggeds are such sucker for tricks! A couple of "Give Paws", "Rollovers" and "Say Pleases" and I have them in the palm of my paw!

This is a photo of the adorable me resting at home after my ordeal!

From the comments of my previous post, Huskee ask if Z's phone bill have exploded yet (for those who are new to my bloggie, if you've read my earlier posting you'll understand why) and the answer is a BIG NO! Why you may ask and the answer is that Z and V ended up using this online service known as Skype which enables them to call each other and have video conference for free! Wonderful idea if I may say. (At this precise moment, Z is actually waiting for V to wake up so that she can Skype him, so I only have a small window of opportunity to blog)

That's all for today Dawggies! I'll post again as soon as possible!

My Second Award!

First and foremost I would like to thank my dawggie friend Gizmo for giving me this award! It such great fun and joy to have friends like all you dawgs around. It makes my life so much fun!

Here it is Ta Da~ The " I AM AN AWESOME BLOGGER FRIEND" Award!

I will like to pass this award to some of my other dawggie friends!

Thor

*Beams*

On another note, Z has been promising to take me for a long walk but have yet to execute that promise so I decide to do some stuff to get her attention. I decide to eliminate by installment. Yes you heard me the first time, since I'm a house trained dawggie, I have my personal pee tray in the house so I dun have to hold it in when I want to do my business, and since its IN the house, the two-leggeds have to wash it everytime i poop. So to get their attention, I poop in installment, when they least expect it, in small small bits and eat my poop! Yes I love to eat my poop, i reckon its some type of delicacy! For some reason it drives the two-legged wild! *Hee Hee Hee* So far I have made them wash my pee tray at least 10 times and have managed to eat my poop only about 2! What an accomplishment.....

I Love MILKBONES!

Very very much indeed. I'm obsessed with them, besotted, hooked, enthralled, snared! Okie you get my point.

THIS is the object of my Desire!

Introducing my beloved MILKBONE or more affectionately known as my "Bone Bone"!

One of my favourite chewing spot is on Z's bed, see how the green sheets bring out my gorgeous colour. So first I get myself comfy with Bone Bone.

Then I sniff it to make sure it IS my Bone Bone (you never know, it might be some weird toy/object masquerading as my Bone Bone)

Its Bone Bone time!

Stop it! I'm shy, why you keep taking my photo?

Alright that's it will you stop it already and let me chew in peace.

A Dog's Purpose

One of Z's two-legged friend sent this mail to us and I've given Z permission to post this inspirational story up on my blog, as a reminder to all two-leggeds as to how wonderful we dawggies are and to remind them to give us more treats!

A Dog's Purpose (from a 6-year old).

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolf hound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle. I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home. As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience. The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what wa s going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away. The little boy seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker's Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, 'I know why.' Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation. He said, 'People are born so that they can learn how to live a good Life -- like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?' The Six-year-old continued, 'Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long.'

Live simply.

Love generously.

Care deeply.

Speak kindly.

Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy..

Take naps.

Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Be loyal.

Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.

ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY!

I AM BACK!

Hey Dawggies,

First and foremost I must say a huge thank you to all the wonderful comments that you dawgs have left for us and sorry for not posting in such a long time. Z finally came back form her trip. (V has flown away, a few hours ago to LA California) And Z's back with some peace offering to appease my wounded little heart and for leaving me for such along time (Z - he was so upset he cried for a long time)

A bag of treats!

and... a Cuz toy!

I must say I really love the toy! It bouncy, its orange and it squeaks! I have been carrying it around the house the whole time. I guess I'll forgive her now that she's so nice to me (Z -yeah right you were so happy to see me your tail wont stop wagging), I am a very forgiving little dawg!

I especially want to say a thank you to Huskee's Mom for her encouragement.

That's is all for this week, I won't be posting till next week at least as Z will be out of town with V for the weekend. See you when I see you!

Licks and Leaps,
Hugo

Of me and Z..

Hey Dawgies,

Z (and I) want to thank all of you for the encouragement that was given and that it really helped. She's calm down more now although she still hugged me and leak salty water, but i lick them away and she hugged me more and kissed me, so I guess I'm doing something right. She told me that V will be leaving soon (next week) and if i can just let her spent whatever remaining time she has with V, She'll be all mine after next week. I think its a pretty good trade off, although I would miss V too, he such a fun two-legged!

I won't be able to blog over the weekend as Z will be out of town with V. But rest assured that I will try to lift Z's spirit so that she'll bounce back and help me do my bloggie soon. Meanwhile I'll leave you with a video of a baby me "geraming" when I was younger. If you're wondering, geram means being frustrated over something (in this case my toys), Z was playing with me and V was the cameraman!

If you are wondering what's the shouting about at the end, its Z yelling at me cause I peed on the floor and V was so entralled by me that he forgot to continue aiming the camera at me.
